Professor Berry first attended a community college in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. He received his Bachelor's Degree in literature from Antioch College and studied a year abroad at Eberhard-Karls University in Tuebingen, Germany. Thereafter, he earned his Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition and became TESOL certified. Prof. Berry was awarded a PhD with Union Institute & University in 2009. He has been teaching college for over 20 years and has been with Cape Cod Community College since 2007, where he teaches both online and face-to-face courses for the department. In addition to teaching, he is a published scholar and fiction writer.
