Hillel Sims is the Dean of the STEM Division at Roxbury Community College, where Hillel supports faculty, staff, and students with courses, workshops, training, technology, internships and STEM events and activities. Hillel is also the primary investigator for the Bridges to Bachelorette, Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation, and STEM Starter Academy Grants.

Hillel has a PhD in Genetics from the Tufts University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Gene Expression at Brandeis University. Prior to coming to Roxbury Community College, Hillel was a senior scientist for Addgene, followed by taking on the role of Director of Operations for Genetics Services Inc.
