Kristie Proctor is currently the Director of Student Accessibility Services at Quinsigamond Community College, where she also leads the Committee for Student Success. Having worked in the postsecondary disability field for over 25 years, Kristie has served at the following institutions: San Jose State University, SUNY New Paltz, Clark University and now Quinsigamond Community College. Kristie earned a bachelor's degree from Barrington College (Gordon College) and Master's degree in Education (Special) from San Jose State University. Research interests include assistive technology, learning disabilities, females with autism, ADD/ADHD, and legal compliance with disability law.

In addition to leading a fabulous team of hardworking professionals in Student Accessibility Services, Kristie co-teaches for the Gateway to College program, GtC 101: Design Your Life Lab using the tenets of life design thinking to encourage students to share their life story and write a better life story moving forward. Kristie has run the Falmouth Road Race on behalf of the Genesis Club (supporting adults with psychological disabilities using the Clubhouse model), hosted annual potato chip contests in the SAS office, and quilts, grows lavender, and collects striped rocks and sea glass in Woods Hole for fun.
