This session will highlight the newly opened Food for Thought: Campus Pantry at Mount Wachusett Community College. Discussions around assessment of college student hunger will engage participants in the best way to collect qualitative and quantitative data to support the creation or expansion of exciting programs focused on food insecurity on your campus.  Through a case study model, the presenters will share successes and challenges on their journey to opening a food pantry. Finally, participants will engage in a lively discussion around best practices in recruiting, training and retaining student volunteers to lead and sustain food insecurity initiatives.
